In this beginners’ workshop, we will cover the basics of web design in the 21st Century (What is a domain, host, Content Management System?). I will show you how to use tools available on the web (such as WordPress.com and Google Apps) to build your website for free.
Scared of the internet? Lacking in computer skills? That’s OK — after two hours, you’ll have a working website that you can manage all on your own! This workshop is specially designed for individuals and small business owners looking to build their first website or blog.
What to bring with you: A laptop with any text or images you want to include on your website. Wifi internet will be available at the location.
